Sato Shinya [WIP]

>> APPEARANCE;
Shinya, for all intents and purposes, is as respectable looking as they come. When he isn't wearing his standard issue uniform, which is rarely, he can usually be seen dressed in something visually similar to a teenager's Japanese formal school uniform. Black, from shoulder to toe, neatly pressed and remarkably clean looking, obviously hinting toward his diligence to tidiness that commands him in his off hours. Contrast to the rest of him, the only hang up in his appearance is his hair; cerulean, shaggy, unkempt. There's a story behind it, the messy look, though he's usually absolutely against discussing it and generally get flustered when its mentioned.

>> PERSONALITY;
Which one? Shinya's two "aliases," or pet names, are derived from what some may call his split/dual personalities. These aren't common knowledge and Shinya does his best to keep them in check but no one is perfect, right?

Sanya [Sa(toShi)nya], while the dormant of two, is certainly the most volatile. Quick to anger and prone to violence, the buffer of conscience that generally weeds out the right and the wrong response to situations is completely non-existent. Sanya is impulsive, spontaneous, rash, rude, and just about any other negative trait you could think of that shouldn't be on the inside of a Mobile Suit. Sanya seems to emerge only when Shinya is under extreme duress or his mind cannot function/handle the overload it suffers during troublesome, emotional moments. Sanya is usually characterized as having a crazed face twisted in a wicked, maniacal appearance.

Shinto [Shin(yaSa)to], the dominant of the two personalities, is exactly as the pet name implies. Peaceful, serene, calm to the point where he seems at one with all things around him. Quiet and reflective, Shinto usually keeps to himself, whether it is brushing up on his combat training in solitude, reading any book he can get his hands on, performing maintenance on his Mobile Suit, or just sitting in contemplation while appreciating the world and nature for what it is. Shinto is methodical and coordinated, preferring to think things through thoroughly, relying on history and accumulated knowledge rather than go with gut instincts. His facial features generally show no or little emotion when under this passive personality.

>> HISTORY;
History is important to Shinya, that may be why he keeps his so private. The time before his enrollment in the Zeon forces is generally considered off limits and sealed away within him. He never seems to mention family and he certainly never mentions any friends. All signs and in depth investigation point to fact that his childhood was anything but good, although he has never said a word about it.

The most anyone has gathered from him is just basic information that could be found in any Zeon record. Named Sato Shinya, born and raised in Japan, no known relatives, completed upper secondary education with excellent marks, suitable to pilot, basic mechanic skills.
