The largest Zeon-occupied country in Europe, Russia was the first Federation territory to fall into the Principality's clutches in the beginning months of the war. While most of the terrain remains desolate and unfit for living, the icy desolation does serve as the perfect natural defense for some of the Zeon's more important bases and research facilities.
