Customizing your mobile suit and its weaponry will play a big part in your experience here on GRP. Keeping your suit upgraded will often times give you the edge you need to overcome your enemy in battle, or save your life when the going gets hard. This is done by spending the credits you earn through missions and special events. But, there are some rules regarding these features.
The first and most important rule is that you need to make sure your mobile suit is the proper class-level for the upgrade in question. Certain suits lack the credentials that some of the higher level upgrades require, and thusly can not use them. There will be no exceptions or way around this rule, unfortunately.
The second thing you need to look out for is the number of slots the upgrade you're looking for takes up. As you know, every mobile suit has a certain amount of slots dedicated to upgrades. Most upgrades only take up a single slot; however, there are those that will require sometimes as many as three slots. If you don't have the amount necessary, you can't use it.
Now, when it comes to upgrading your weaponry the process is far easier. All weapons can be upgraded a total of one [1] time (i.e to the V2 platform), increasing some aspect of the equipment in question.
